ACTIVITIES
1. Enhancement of Evangelism.

✓ Training youth leaders on how to lead Bible Studies, preach and teach.

2. Promotion of Education
✓ Advocating for better education standards at Synod and government level.
✓ Development of youth support groups to help needy students.
✓ Identification of roles models and professionals to speak to the youths.

MORE ACTIVITIES.
1. Youth development and economic empowerment.
✓ Identification of potential entrepreneurship activities which the youths may be engaged in using local resources.
✓ Identification of potential partners both local and international to help in developing the lives of the youths.
✓ Integrating youth development activities in all youth programs
2. Climate Change and environmental management.
✓ The broad aim is to increase participation of the youth in the protection, preservation / conservation and improvement of the environment.
The following are the activities:
• Integrating environmental issues in all youth activities
• Identifying stakeholders with bias in climate change and environmental management so as to teach youths and even the community on alternative sources of energy rather than firewood.
• Conducting sanitation months where youths are engaged in taking care of the environment such as mass cleaning of markets, hospitals and townships.
• Promoting reforestation activities as well as promoting tree planting activities around Churches and communities.
3. Health Promotion
✓ The main goal is to improve access to comprehensive health information and services by the youth. This is done through the following activities:
• Trainings on how parents can communicate sexual and reproductive health issues with adolescents.
• Conducting trainings on life skills, peer education and counselling.
• Working with BSHDC and advocating for youth friendly health service in all Blantyre Synod health facilities.
• Developed the Adolescent and Youth SRHR Policy document.
4. Resource mobilization
✓ Effective implementation of all the interventions and activities depends on the availability of both financial, material and human resources.
To realize these resources, we depend on, but not limited to, the following activities:
• Annual allocation from Synod.
• Youth membership cards
• Proposals to funding agencies
• Individual pledges
• Youths targets
